Preparing and Finishing Concrete (DEP)

To become a good Concrete Finisher, you need a good physical condition and good eyesight.

During the program, students learn how to prepare and finish concrete surfaces on floors, walls, sidewalks and paving. They also learn how to apply metallic water proofing, including the protective coating and waterproofing membranes.

Daytime: 7:15 am to 4:20 pm

Admission requirements

  • Hold a secondary school diploma (SSD);
  •                              or
  • Be at least 16 years of age and have earned secondary III credits in language of instruction, second language and mathematics of have been granted recognition of equivalent learning;
  •                  or
  • Be at least 18 years old of age and have successfully completed the General Development Test (GDT) and have the program’s specific prerequisites or recognition of equivalent learning.
